- We never sell your data, and we never use your videos or generated demos to train AI models.
- Our AI reads the visual and audio content of your videos to write and voice your demo — that's the core of the Service.
- Your uploads and demos are hosted securely on AWS in North America, and deleted when they're no longer needed.
- You're responsible for keeping confidential data safe and only uploading content you're allowed to.
- We use cookies on our website; you can control them in your browser.
This summary is for convenience only — the full text below is what legally applies.
1. Who we are
Vidwip is an AI product that turns screen recordings into narrated demo videos. It is operated by syncgtm LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“syncgtm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Vidwip and our website at vidwip.com (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We handle personal information in line with applicable United States federal and state privacy laws and, where they apply, the GDPR (EEA/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California), and other data-protection laws.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address, and password when you sign up.
- Billing details — your plan and payment information. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we don’t store your full card number.
- Your content — the screen recordings, videos, links, and any scripts, captions, or brand assets you upload or create in order to generate demos.
- Communications — messages you send us for support or feedback.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — how you interact with the Service, such as features used, videos generated, and timestamps.
- Device & log data — IP address, browser type, device and operating system, and referring pages.
- Cookies & similar technologies — seeCookies below.
3. Your videos and how our AI uses them
To create your demo, our AI models read the visual and audio content of the videos you upload — analysing what’s on screen, transcribing speech, writing a narration script, and generating a synthetic voiceover. This automated processing is the core function of the Service and cannot be provided without it.
- Processing is automated. We don’t routinely watch or listen to your videos. Our team may only access your content in limited cases — for example, when you ask us for support, or where we’re required to investigate abuse or comply with the law.
- We do not use your videos, audio, or generated output to train our AI models or those of any third party.
- We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and generate your demo videos;
- Create and manage your account and process payments;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Improve and develop the Service (using aggregated or de-identified analytics — never your video content to train models);
- Send you service and account notices, and — where permitted — product updates you can opt out of;
- Comply with our legal obligations.
6. Where your data is stored and how we protect it
Your data — including your uploads and generated demos — is hosted securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in North America. We rely on AWS’s enterprise-grade physical and network security, and we apply safeguards including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest;
- Access controls that limit who on our team can access systems;
- Logging and monitoring to detect and respond to issues.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we can’t guarantee absolute security.
7. Your confidential data is your responsibility
You decide what you upload. Because our AI processes whatever is on screen and in the audio of your recordings, it is your responsibility to make sure you are permitted to upload that content and to keep confidential or sensitive information safe.
- Before recording, close or redact anything you don’t want processed — passwords, personal data of others, customer records, health or financial information, or trade secrets.
- Only upload content you own or have the necessary rights and consents to use.
- Don’t upload confidential information you’re not authorised to share, or that’s subject to obligations you can’t meet through a cloud service.
9. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal information and content only for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Your uploads and generated demos are retained so you can access them in your account, and are deleted when they’re no longer needed, when you delete them, or when you close your account — subject to any retention we must observe by law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (seeYour rights).
10. International data transfers
We are based in the United States and host data on AWS in North America. If you access the Service from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in these locations, which may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. These rights are available under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA (California) and other US state privacy laws and, where applicable, the GDPR (EEA/UK).
To exercise any of these rights, email us atsupport@vidwip.com. We’ll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority — in the United States, your state attorney general or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
12. Children
Vidwip is not intended for children. The Service is designed for people aged 16 and over, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
