Vidwip AI Music is the pick when the song is for a video: it composes 10 s to 3 min tracks to your cut's exact length in 16 styles. ElevenLabs Music v2 has the cleanest licensing story for commercial work, Mureka gives the most songs per dollar with downloads included, and Google Flow Music is the cheapest way into a Lyria-powered studio. Skip Udio if you need files: downloads have been off since October 2025.
The best Suno alternatives in 2026 are Vidwip AI Music for songs sized to a video, ElevenLabs Music for licensed commercial tracks, and Mureka for the most songs per dollar. Suno is still the default AI song generator, but it’s no longer the obvious one.
After its Warner Music settlement, Suno moved to licensed v6 models, ended downloads on the free plan, and capped paid downloads at 20 a month on Pro. That cap and the open label questions are why so many creators are shopping around.
This list ranks nine of them on what you actually ship: vocal realism, lyric control, song length, downloads, and the licence you get. Every price was checked on the vendor’s own pricing page in October 2026.
TL;DR: the best Suno alternatives at a glance
| # | Tool | Best for | Vocals | Paid from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Vidwip AI Music | Songs sized to a video cut | Yes, 32 lyric languages | Free to start, no card |
| 2 | ElevenLabs Music | Commercial songs with a clean licence | Yes | $6/mo |
| 3 | Mureka | Most songs per dollar | Yes | $10/mo |
| 4 | Google Flow Music | Cheap Lyria-powered studio | Yes | $6/mo |
| 5 | Soundverse | Consent-based voice models | Yes | $12/mo |
| 6 | Udio | Editing songs you only stream | Yes | $10/mo |
| 7 | AIVA | Orchestral scores and MIDI | No | €11/mo (annual) |
| 8 | Stable Audio | Long instrumentals up to 6 min | Limited | $12/mo |
| 9 | Soundraw | Copyright-safe beats | No | $5.99/mo |
For reference, Suno Pro costs $10/month, or $8/month billed yearly, for 2,500 credits and 20 song downloads. Premier costs $30/month, or $24/month billed yearly, for 10,000 credits and 60 downloads (checked October 2026).
What to look for in a Suno alternative
Four things decide whether a song generator replaces Suno for you.
Vocal realism. Listen for breath, consonants and pitch slides. A good model sings like a person in a booth, while a weak one sounds like a synth reading lyrics.
Lyric control. Can you paste finished lyrics and have them sung as written? Section tags like [Verse] and [Chorus] matter more than a clever prompt box.
Length and downloads. Check the longest single generation, then check whether you can download the file at all. Udio proves the second question is not a formality.
Commercial licence. Free tiers are almost always personal use only. On paid plans, read what the licence covers: social video, ads, streaming distribution, or all three.
1. Vidwip AI Music
Vidwip AI Music: original songs and instrumentals composed to the length of your video
Vidwip AI Music is an AI song generator inside Vidwip’s browser video editor. It composes a sung or instrumental track from 10 seconds to 3 minutes in one of 16 styles, then drops the MP3 on your timeline.
Suno gives you a song and leaves the fitting to you. Vidwip starts from the cut: you set a length in 5-second steps, every section gets its own duration, and the song ends on that length with a 1.5-second fade.
You paste lyrics to have them sung as written, or describe the song in up to 3,000 characters. Then pick a style (Pop, Rock, Hip-hop, Lo-fi, Jazz, Synthwave, Orchestral and 9 more), a tempo from 60 to 174 BPM or Auto, and one of 32 lyric languages, and ElevenLabs Music v2 composes it.
The track is mastered to -14 LUFS, the same level Vidwip’s voiceovers use, so a voiceover sits on top without riding the faders. Select an audio clip and choose Generate music, and the bed starts at your timeline’s length.
Pros
- Songs end exactly on your chosen length, from 10 s to 3 min, with no trimming
- Paste lyrics and they’re sung as written, or have AI draft sectioned, editable lyrics
- 16 styles, 11 tempo presets, and vocal level set Low, Balanced or High
- Lyrics sung in 32 languages, with brand names kept as you wrote them
- Remix song re-sings new lyrics over a song you own, on clips up to 5 minutes
- Music, video, voiceover and subtitles in one AI Studio timeline
Cons
- 3 minutes is the ceiling per generation, so it won’t make a 5-minute album track
- MP3 only: no WAV, stems or MIDI export
- It won’t imitate a named artist; you describe the era and instruments instead
- Vidwip publishes no separate music licence, so read its terms before a streaming release
Best for: YouTube creators, ad teams and Reels editors who need an original song or bed that fits a specific cut.
Pricing: Free to start, no credit card. Starter $25/month (2,500 credits), Pro $99/month (10,000 credits). See Vidwip pricing.
2. ElevenLabs Music
ElevenLabs Music: Music v2 songs with vocals, cleared for commercial use on paid plans
ElevenLabs Music is a text-to-song model from the voice company, now on Music v2. It writes and sings full songs across genres and languages, with section-by-section editing and stems.
Its edge over Suno is the licensing story. ElevenLabs says Music v2 was built in partnership with artists, labels and publishers, and that tracks are cleared for broad commercial use, with rights set by plan.
Free covers about 11 minutes of music a month for personal use only, Starter at $6 about 33 minutes for commercial use without streaming, and Creator at $22 about 134 minutes (checked October 2026). Extra minutes cost $0.15 to $0.33.
Pros
- Built with artists, labels and publishers, per ElevenLabs
- Inpainting and section editing to fix one line without regenerating
- 2- and 4-stem downloads from Starter, up to 6 stems on Pro
- API access to Music v1 and v2 for developers
- One credit pool shared with ElevenLabs voice tools
Cons
- Starter excludes streaming release; you need Creator for Spotify and Apple Music
- Self-serve plans exclude film, TV and studio games, per its FAQ
- Credits are shared with voice, so heavy TTS use eats your music minutes
- It doesn’t publish a maximum song length
Best for: Brands and agencies that want sung tracks for ads and social with a commercial licence they can explain to legal.
Pricing: Free (about 11 min/month, personal use), Starter $6/month (about 33 min), Creator $22/month (about 134 min), Pro $99/month (about 667 min). Checked October 2026.
3. Mureka
Mureka: V9.5 song model with lyrics, reference tracks and stem splitting
Mureka is the closest like-for-like Suno alternative. The create screen looks familiar: a lyrics box, a style box, a vocal gender toggle and an Instrumental switch, with a V9.5 model behind it.
Where it beats Suno is volume and downloads. Pro gives up to 500 songs a month with unlimited MP3 downloads and full commercial rights, against Suno Pro’s 20 downloads at the same $10 price.
Premier adds the production layer: WAV, MIDI and DAW session export, splitting into up to 12 stems, and professional voice cloning. It also makes music videos from a finished track.
Pros
- Up to 500 songs a month on Pro, with unlimited MP3 downloads
- Commercial rights cover songs made before you upgraded
- Reference tracks, remix, extend and section editing
- 12-stem splitting, WAV and MIDI export on Premier
Cons
- The free tier runs an older model (v7.5) and carries no commercial rights
- WAV, stems and MIDI are Premier only
- Training data sources aren’t published
- Song length per generation isn’t listed on the plan page
Best for: Hobbyists and independent artists who want Suno-style songs in bulk with the files included.
Pricing: Free (4 songs a day), Pro $10/month or $8/month billed yearly (500 songs), Premier $30/month or $24/month billed yearly (2,000 songs). Checked October 2026.
4. Google Flow Music
Google Flow Music: the former ProducerAI, now running Google DeepMind’s Lyria 3.5
Google Flow Music is the old Riffusion, renamed ProducerAI in 2025 and acquired by Google in early 2026. It now runs on Lyria 3.5, Google DeepMind’s music model.
You chat with it like a producer: describe the song, ask for changes, and it rewrites the track. It also makes music videos with Google’s Veo model, which no other tool here does natively.
The pricing is aggressive. Starter is $6/month for 3,000 credits, which Google estimates at about 600 songs, and downloads come in MP3, WAV and M4A.
Pros
- About 600 songs a month for $6, the lowest cost per song in this list
- Chat-based editing instead of a fixed form
- Stem downloads and music videos with Veo
- Free tier tops up credits daily
Cons
- Google’s plan page doesn’t spell out commercial rights on the output
- Independent musicians sued Google in 2026 over Lyria’s training data, per press reports
- Tracks are reportedly capped at 3 minutes
- The product has changed names twice in under a year
Best for: Creators who want lots of experimental songs cheaply and like steering with chat.
Pricing: Free (daily credits), Starter $6/month (about 600 songs), Plus $18/month (about 2,000), Member $48/month (about 6,000). Checked October 2026.
5. Soundverse
Soundverse: an agentic music studio with consent-based Artist DNA voice models
Soundverse is an AI music studio built around an agent: you type what you want, and Agent One creates, edits and splits the track. Full songs with vocals and lyrics are on every plan.
Its distinct idea is Artist DNA. Instead of imitating an artist without permission, Soundverse sells consent-based voice and style models that real artists license.
The licence climbs with the plan: personal on Free, royalty-free on Creator, sample use on Pro, and distribution on Max. That ladder is clearer than most tools here.
Pros
- Vocals, lyrics and singing on every plan, including free
- Consent-based Artist DNA voice and style models
- Stem separator and tempo and key detection built in
- Licence tiers spelled out from personal to distribution
Cons
- Distribution rights only on the top Max tier
- The pricing page sits behind a discount pop-up
- Max song length isn’t published
- Smaller user base and fewer independent reviews than Suno or Udio
Best for: Musicians who want a vocal style they can legally use, and teams that need a clear licence per tier.
Pricing: Free (3 full songs to start), Creator $12/month or $10/month billed yearly, Pro $36/month, Max from $72/month, per Soundverse’s own plan comparisons. Checked October 2026.
6. Udio
Udio: strong vocals and editing tools, but streaming only since its UMG settlement
Udio was Suno’s closest rival through 2025, and its vocals still rank among the most natural. Extend, inpaint and remix let you rebuild a song bar by bar.
Then came the settlement with Universal Music Group in October 2025. Udio switched off audio, video and stem downloads on every plan, and they were still off in October 2026.
That makes Udio a place to create and stream, not a source of files. If your song has to leave the platform, for a video, a game or a distributor, pick another tool.
Pros
- Natural vocals and strong genre range
- Extend, inpaint, remix and style references
- Save and reuse your own Voices on paid plans
- Free tier needs no credit card
Cons
- No downloads of audio, video or stems on any plan
- Songs generate about 2 minutes at a time (130 s), then extend
- Free tier limits you to 3 full-length songs a day
- Its licensed platform with UMG is still a walled garden
Best for: Hobbyists who make songs to share inside Udio and don’t need the files.
Pricing: Free (100 credits/month), Standard $10/month or $8/month billed yearly (2,400 credits), Pro $30/month or $24/month billed yearly (6,000 credits). Checked October 2026.
7. AIVA
AIVA: instrumental composition in 250+ styles with MIDI export
AIVA is a composer, not a singer. It writes instrumental pieces in more than 250 styles, from cinematic orchestral to lo-fi, and exports MIDI you can open in a DAW.
That makes it a Suno alternative only if you don’t need vocals. For game scores, film cues and trailers, AIVA’s structured compositions and editable MIDI beat a text-to-song model.
Read the copyright line carefully: on Free and Standard, AIVA owns the copyright. Only Pro hands copyright to you, with full monetization.
Pros
- MIDI export on every plan, including free
- 250+ styles, plus upload an audio or MIDI influence
- Pieces up to 5 minutes 30 seconds on Pro
- You own the copyright on Pro
Cons
- No vocals or lyrics
- AIVA keeps copyright on Free and Standard
- Standard allows monetization only on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok and Instagram
- Priced in euros plus VAT, billed annually
Best for: Composers and game developers who want editable instrumental scores.
Pricing: Free (3 downloads/month, up to 3 min, credit AIVA), Standard €11/month billed annually (15 downloads), Pro €33/month billed annually (300 downloads, your copyright). Checked October 2026.
8. Stable Audio
Stable Audio: Stability AI’s music model, tracks up to 6 minutes with a DAW plugin
Stable Audio is Stability AI’s music generator, built for instrumentals, loops and sound design. You type a prompt, drag a length slider, and get a full mix or a multi-track generation.
It wins on length and workflow. Paid plans generate tracks up to 6 minutes, and a plugin puts Stable Audio inside Logic, Ableton and Pro Tools.
Don’t pick it for sung songs. Its strength is texture and arrangement, not lyrics.
Pros
- Tracks up to 6 minutes on every paid plan
- Multi-track generations you can mix separately
- DAW plugin for Logic, Ableton and Pro Tools
- Commercial licence from the $12 Solo plan
Cons
- Not built for sung lyrics
- Free tier is non-commercial, about 12 generations a month
- Multi-track generations cost more credits than full mixes
Best for: Producers and video editors who need long instrumental beds and stems in their DAW.
Pricing: Free (50 credits/month), Solo $12/month (about 165 full mixes), Session $30/month (about 450), Producer $90/month, Studio $199/month. Checked October 2026.
9. Soundraw
Soundraw: instrumental beats from a model trained only on in-house music
Soundraw is the most cautious pick here. Its model is trained only on music Soundraw produces in-house, so there are no scraped songs behind your beat.
It makes instrumentals and beats, not sung songs. You pick a mood, genre and length, then rearrange sections until the track fits.
Pros
- Trained only on in-house music, per Soundraw
- Unlimited downloads on the Creator plan
- Artist plans permit distribution to Spotify and Apple Music
- WAV and stems from Artist Pro
Cons
- No vocals or lyrics
- Creator downloads are MP3 only
- Companies with 10+ employees need an Enterprise quote
Best for: Creators and beat-makers who want instrumentals with the lowest copyright risk.
Pricing: Creator $5.99/month (unlimited MP3 downloads), Artist Starter $10.49/month, Artist Pro $12.59/month (WAV, stems), Artist Unlimited $17.49/month. Checked October 2026.

How to choose the right Suno alternative
Pick Vidwip AI Music if the song goes under a video. It composes to the length of your cut, masters to voiceover level, and keeps music, voice and picture on one AI Studio timeline.
Pick ElevenLabs Music if you need sung tracks for paid ads and want a licence you can defend. Start on Creator if the song will be streamed.
Pick Mureka if you want Suno-style songs in volume with downloads included. 500 songs for $10 is the best like-for-like deal.
Pick Google Flow Music if you experiment a lot and like chatting your way to a track. Check the terms before you monetize.
Pick AIVA, Stable Audio or Soundraw if you don’t need vocals. AIVA for scores and MIDI, Stable Audio for long beds in your DAW, Soundraw for beats with the lowest copyright risk.
Skip Udio unless you only stream inside it.
If you’re comparing voice tools as well as music, our ElevenLabs alternatives roundup covers narration and cloning, and AI video voiceover shows how to put a voice over the same cut. Editing in CapCut today? Our CapCut alternatives list compares other editors.
The verdict
Suno is still a strong song generator, but the 20-download cap on Pro and the open label questions push many creators elsewhere. For songs that ship inside a video, Vidwip AI Music composes a track that ends on your last frame, in 16 styles and 32 lyric languages, and it’s free to start at app.vidwip.com.
For standalone songs, ElevenLabs Music has the clearest licence and Mureka the most songs per dollar. Whichever you choose, read the current terms before you release, because the label deals are still moving.
