Pick by job, not by hype. Veo 3.1 is the one with lip-synced speech in Vidwip, Kling 3.0 suits steady product shots, Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 give 30-second takes, and Grok Imagine 1.5 Lite is the cheap draft at 5 credits a second. Kling 4.0 is not on Vidwip. We compared vendor pages and did not run these models ourselves.
This video ai models comparison puts 12 AI video models side by side on clip length, resolution, sound, lip sync and price per second. It ends with a pick for ads, UGC, short dramas and product shots.
We compared vendor pages and Vidwip’s own model list. We did not run these models ourselves, so every spec below is either Vidwip’s data or the vendor’s own claim, and we say which.
Video AI models comparison table
Every price is US dollars per second of output, checked November 2026 on the source named in the next section. Vidwip’s figures are credits a second from its model list, shown in dollars at $0.0079 to $0.01 a credit, depending on plan.

Hailuo 2.3 and Hailuo 3 Max are the two Vidwip models that make silent clips, so they are left out. Your edit exports from AI Studio at up to 1080p and 30 fps whatever the model makes.
Where the vendor’s limit differs from Vidwip’s
A vendor’s maximum is not always what a studio exposes. Here is where we found a gap.
| Model | What the vendor says | What Vidwip runs |
|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 | An August 2026 rate-card summary lists 720p to 4K and an 8-second cap | 1080p, 4, 6 or 8 s |
| Hailuo 3 | MiniMax prices 768P and 2K tiers | 2K |
| Wan 3.0 | Alibaba lists 480P, 720P and 1080P at 30 fps, 2 to 30 s | 720p, 2 to 30 s |
| FLUX.3 Video | Black Forest Labs prices HD up to 4K, clips up to 20 s | 720p, 5 to 20 s |
| Seedance 2.5 | ByteDance says up to 30 s per generation | 720p, 4 to 30 s |
| Grok Imagine 1.5 | xAI says up to 15 s | 720p, 1 to 15 s |
Vidwip fixes the resolution per model, from 720p to 2K, and has no 4K. If you need 4K from Veo 3.1 or FLUX.3 Video, call the vendor’s API directly.
What each model costs at the vendor
These are the prices we could read, per second of output with sound where the vendor separates it. Where we could not read a vendor page, the cell says so.
| Model | Vendor price per second | Source (checked November 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 | $0.40 at 720p and 1080p, audio included | A third-party summary of Google’s rate card, dated August 2026 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast | $0.10 at 720p, $0.12 at 1080p | Same summary |
| Kling 3.0 Pro | $0.168 with audio, $0.112 without | fal.ai, a host, not Kling’s own page |
| Kling O1 | $0.112 | fal.ai, a host |
| Kling 4.0 | Not verified | Kling’s pricing page would not load for us |
| Seedance 2.5 | About $0.47 at 720p | fal.ai, billed by token; ByteDance publishes no per-second rate we could find |
| Seedance 2.0 | Not checked | n/a |
| Hailuo 3 | $0.08 at 768P, $0.13 at 2K | MiniMax pay-as-you-go page, listed as MiniMax-H3 |
| Wan 3.0 | $0.10 at 720p | Alibaba Cloud’s Singapore list, a limited-time 30% off list price |
| FLUX.3 Video | $0.15 at HD, audio included | Black Forest Labs |
| Grok Imagine 1.5 | $0.080 | xAI |
| Grok Imagine 1.5 Lite | $0.020 | xAI |
Two honest notes. Seedance 2.5 costs less in Vidwip, at 35 credits, than the roughly $0.47 a second fal.ai charges, and Kling 3.0 Pro and Veo 3.1 cost more.
A summary of Google’s rates is not Google’s page. Google’s Gemini API retired its Veo 3.1 preview models on October 22, 2026, per its video docs, so check Google Cloud for the current table.

Lip sync and character consistency
No vendor we read publishes a lip-sync accuracy score, so treat every line below as a claim.
| Model | Lip sync | Character consistency |
|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 | Vidwip’s picker says lip-synced speech is included, and its product notes say only Veo makes lips match | Not stated on pages we read |
| Kling 4.0 | Kling claims “more accurate lip-sync”, with no metric | Kling makes no explicit identity claim; up to 15 reference assets |
| Seedance 2.5 | Not stated on ByteDance’s page, which calls it an audio-video joint model | No specific claim; Vidwip can swap characters with Seedance models |
| Hailuo 3 | Not stated | Vidwip’s picker line: steadier subject identity and more expressive faces |
| Wan 3.0 | Alibaba’s page does not mention it | Reference images, video and audio as inputs |
| Grok Imagine 1.5 | Not stated | xAI lists up to 14 reference images and 3 voice references for reference-to-video |
The Kling 4.0 claims come from Kling’s announcement. Our Kling 4.0 review has the rest.
Where Kling 4.0 fits
Vidwip does not run Kling 4.0. We cover it because other sites sell it.
Kling says it makes clips up to 30 seconds with stereo audio, up to 15 references and up to 10 keyframes. On Vidwip, the nearest options are Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 for 30-second takes.
Which model for which job
These picks are our reading of the specs, not test results. Ranked scores live in the video model leaderboard.
| Job | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Ads and commercials | Veo 3.1, or Kling 3.0 Pro | Veo for realism and speech; Vidwip’s picker calls Kling 3.0 steady on product shots |
| UGC with talking creators | Veo 3.1 | The only Vidwip model that syncs lips to speech |
| Short dramas | Seedance 2.5 | 4 to 30 seconds in one take, and it can swap characters |
| Expressive faces | Hailuo 3 | 2K and steadier subject identity, per Vidwip’s picker |
| Product shots | Kling 3.0 Standard | 20 credits a second and steady camera moves |
| Cheap drafts | Grok Imagine 1.5 Lite | 5 credits a second, with sound |
| Long b-roll | Wan 3.0 | 2 to 30 seconds at 16 credits a second |

Run one prompt on several models in Vidwip
Vidwip’s AI video generator lets you pick a model for each shot. That makes a same-prompt test cheap.
- Write the shot once, then pick a model, a length and a shape.
- Generate it, then repeat on a second model with the same words.
- Keep the clip you like. A clip you don’t like can be replaced without moving the rest of your timeline.
Here is the arithmetic for a 6-second clip: Grok Imagine 1.5 Lite is 30 credits, Wan 3.0 is 96 and Kling 3.0 Standard is 120. That is 246 credits, about a tenth of the 2,500 credits Starter gives you each month for $25.
Veo 3.1 at 6 seconds is 360 credits, so it needs a paid plan. Starter is $25 a month for 2,500 credits, and the full list sits on the pricing page and the models page.
Verdict
No model wins every column. Choose the sound and length you need first, then the price.
If you want Veo 3.1 speech, Seedance 2.5 length and Grok Lite drafts in one place, Vidwip runs all 16 on one balance. It has no native app and no Kling 4.0.
