The cheapest Hailuo 2.3 provider we could confirm at 1080p is MiniMax's own API, with fal.ai matching it: $0.49 for a 6-second clip, about $0.082 a second. Krea is cheaper per second but only at 768p. Vidwip costs $0.103 to $0.130 a second at 1080p, silent, the dearest we could price.
The cheapest Hailuo 2.3 provider we could confirm at 1080p is MiniMax’s own API, with fal.ai matching it: $0.49 per 6-second clip, or about $0.082 a second. Krea costs less per second, but only at 768p.
We checked every platform on our shortlist on November 6, 2026 and put each on one scale: dollars per second of Hailuo 2.3 video. Hailuo 2.3 is MiniMax’s previous-generation model, now listed as legacy. For the newer one, read our Hailuo 3 review and the cheapest Hailuo 3 provider ranking.
TL;DR: cheapest Hailuo 2.3 provider
| Rank | Platform | Hailuo 2.3 per second | Resolution | 6-second clip |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | MiniMax API | $0.082 | 1080p | $0.49 |
| 1 | fal.ai API | $0.082 | 1080p | $0.49 |
| 3 | Vidwip | $0.103 to $0.130 | 1080p | $0.62 to $0.78 |
| Separate | Krea | About $0.035 to $0.091 | 768p only | About $0.21 to $0.55 |
Krea sits outside the 1080p ranking because it lists Hailuo 2.3 at 768p. Higgsfield, Invideo, Magnific, Luma and the Hailuo app are covered in what we couldn’t confirm.
How we priced Hailuo 2.3
Every figure is dollars per second of finished video, from the vendor’s own page on November 6, 2026, in US dollars.
MiniMax and fal.ai charge per clip, so we divided the clip price by its length. For credit plans we divided the plan price by its credits and multiplied by the credits one second costs. Krea lists how many 6-second videos each plan makes, so we divided plan price by video count, then by 6.
Three things change the real price:
- Resolution: Hailuo 2.3 makes 768p and 1080p, and 768p is far cheaper.
- Clip length: MiniMax lists 1080p only for 6-second clips, while Vidwip sells 6 or 10 seconds at 1080p.
- Billing period: Annual plans lower every app price, so we give a range from yearly to monthly billing.
Hailuo 2.3 makes silent video on every platform here, so no price includes audio.
1. MiniMax API: the list price at 1080p
MiniMax built the model, and its own API is the benchmark. Its pricing page lists MiniMax-Hailuo-2.3 under Legacy Models at $0.49 for a 6-second 1080p clip, which is $0.082 a second.
At 768p the same model costs $0.28 for 6 seconds ($0.047 a second) and $0.56 for 10 seconds ($0.056 a second). The Fast version is cheaper still: $0.33 for 6 seconds at 1080p ($0.055 a second) and $0.19 for 6 seconds at 768p.
You need a developer account and your own tooling, and there is no timeline or editor. Prices come from a per-video table, so there is no per-second rate to scale to longer 1080p clips.
Best for: developers who want the model maker’s rate with no markup. Pricing: $0.082 a second at 1080p, $0.047 to $0.056 at 768p. Checked November 6, 2026.
2. fal.ai: the same price, one key for many models
fal.ai’s Hailuo 2.3 Pro page prices a 1080p text-to-video generation at $0.49, matching MiniMax. Its Standard (768p) endpoint charges $0.28 for 6 seconds and $0.56 for 10 seconds.
The Hailuo 2.3 Fast Pro endpoint is $0.33 per 1080p video. fal’s pages say the price is per video and duration and don’t print the clip length next to the 1080p figures, so we read the $0.49 as the 6-second clip MiniMax lists.
fal gives you one API key for many hosted models, which is the reason to pick it over MiniMax directly. It doesn’t undercut MiniMax on price.
Best for: developers who already use fal for other models. Pricing: $0.49 per 1080p clip, about $0.082 a second; Fast $0.33. Checked November 6, 2026.
3. Krea: cheapest per second, but only at 768p
Krea sells Hailuo 2.3 inside its subscription plans and counts videos, not seconds. Its pricing page lists Hailuo 2.3 at about 24, 96 and 192 six-second 768p videos a month on Basic, Pro and Max.
Krea’s plans on yearly billing, checked November 6, 2026.
Dividing plan price by videos and by 6 seconds gives these estimates:
- Yearly billing: $0.035 (Basic, $5 a month), $0.037 (Pro, $21) and $0.055 (Max, $63).
- Monthly billing: $0.063 (Basic, $9), $0.061 (Pro, $35) and $0.091 (Max, $105).
The video counts are rounded (“about”), so treat these as estimates. Krea lists no 1080p Hailuo 2.3 option, so it can’t be compared directly with the 1080p rows above.
Best for: people already on Krea who are happy with 768p. Pricing: $5 to $105 a month, about $0.035 to $0.091 a second at 768p. Checked November 6, 2026.
4. Vidwip: dearest here, with a timeline attached
Vidwip charges 13 credits a second for Hailuo 2.3, in 1080p and silent, for 6- or 10-second shots in 16:9. A credit costs $0.0079 on Pro annual ($79 a month for 10,000 credits) and $0.01 on Starter monthly ($25 for 2,500).
So Hailuo 2.3 costs $0.103 to $0.130 a second. A 6-second shot runs $0.62 to $0.78 and a 10-second shot $1.03 to $1.30. That’s above MiniMax and fal.ai at 1080p, and it is the highest price of the platforms we could confirm.
Hailuo 2.3, Hailuo 3 and Hailuo 3 Max on Vidwip’s models page.
What you get instead of a lower rate:
- On paid plans, from $25 a month. Starter’s 2,500 credits make about 192 seconds of Hailuo 2.3.
- 16 video models on one balance. AI Video Generator runs Hailuo 2.3 beside Hailuo 3, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and Wan 3.0.
- Shots land on a timeline. Each clip goes to AI Studio, where you add voices, music and captions and export at up to 1080p with no watermark. That matters here because Hailuo 2.3 is silent.
Vidwip doesn’t offer Hailuo 2.3 Fast. If you only want raw clips at the lowest price, use an API. See plans.
Best for: creators who compare models and edit in one place. Pricing: 13 credits a second, $0.103 to $0.130. Checked November 6, 2026.
What we couldn’t confirm
Our October 30 notes had lower figures for several platforms. None of them listed a Hailuo 2.3 price we could read on November 6, so we keep them out of the ranking.
- Higgsfield: its Hailuo 2.3 comparison entry says “silent, no native sound”, but we found no credit cost or price. Our earlier inferred range was $0.051 to $0.081 a second. Check the credit preview in its generator.
- Invideo: its pricing page shows plans ($9, $30 and $80 a month, or $4, $15 and $40 billed yearly) but no Hailuo 2.3 credit cost. Our earlier inferred range was $0.052 to $0.186.
- Magnific: its pricing page shows euros from our location, and Hailuo 2.3 isn’t in its video price table. An earlier $0.040 figure is not re-confirmed, so don’t count on it.
- Luma: Luma’s price list carries MiniMax H3 and H3 Max, not Hailuo 2.3.
- Hailuo app: the consumer app shows “From $9.99/mo” signed out, with no Hailuo 2.3 clip price. Confirm the credit cost at checkout.
The earlier figures show these apps may beat MiniMax’s API on a bigger plan. We just can’t prove it.

When Hailuo 3 is worth paying more for
Hailuo 3 (MiniMax H3) is the newer model: 2K output, native stereo sound and 5- to 15-second clips on Vidwip. MiniMax charges $0.13 a second for it at 2K, against $0.082 for Hailuo 2.3 at 1080p. Our cheapest Hailuo 3 provider post ranks it in full.
On Vidwip the gap is $0.103 to $0.130 for Hailuo 2.3 against $0.158 to $0.200 for Hailuo 3, about $0.055 to $0.07 more a second.
Pay it when:
- You need sound in the shot. Hailuo 3 makes it in one pass, and Hailuo 2.3 doesn’t.
- You need clips longer than 10 seconds. Hailuo 3 goes to 15, Hailuo 2.3 stops at 10.
- The shot is a hero frame. 2K holds up better when you crop or reframe.
Stay on Hailuo 2.3 for silent b-roll, falling or pouring physics, and cheap iteration. Vidwip’s Hailuo 3 Max, a 768p silent draft model, costs the same 13 credits a second as Hailuo 2.3.
