The cheapest Hailuo 3 (MiniMax H3) provider we could confirm is Higgsfield's API at $0.065 a second for 2K video with sound, a 50% promo off the $0.13 list price. Luma's bigger plans come next at $0.077 to $0.138, then MiniMax's own API and fal.ai at $0.13. Vidwip costs $0.158 to $0.200 a second, the dearest we could price.
The cheapest Hailuo 3 provider we could confirm is Higgsfield’s API, at $0.065 per second of 2K video with sound, which is half of MiniMax’s own $0.13 list price. Most other platforms land between $0.077 and $0.20.
We checked eight platforms on November 6, 2026 and put each on one scale: dollars per second of 2K output with sound. Hailuo 3 is the Hailuo app’s name for MiniMax H3, so we use both. For the model itself, read our Hailuo 3 review.
TL;DR: cheapest Hailuo 3 provider
| Rank | Platform | MiniMax H3 per second (2K, sound) | 10-second clip |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Higgsfield API | $0.065 (50% promo) | $0.65 |
| 2 | Luma | $0.077 to $0.138 | $0.77 to $1.38 |
| 3 | Hailuo app | From $0.081 (advertised, not re-confirmed) | From $0.81 |
| 4 | Krea | About $0.10 to $0.25 | About $1.00 to $2.53 |
| 5 | MiniMax API | $0.13 | $1.30 |
| 6 | fal.ai API | $0.13 (not re-confirmed) | $1.30 |
| 7 | Higgsfield app | $0.131 to $0.193 | $1.31 to $1.93 |
| 8 | Vidwip | $0.158 to $0.200 | $1.58 to $2.00 |
Two platforms from our earlier notes, Invideo and Magnific, didn’t give us a figure we could verify, so they sit outside the ranking. See what we couldn’t confirm.
How we priced MiniMax H3
Every figure is dollars per second of finished video, from the vendor’s own page on November 6, 2026, in US dollars.
For API providers we took the listed per-second price. For credit plans we divided the plan price by its credits and multiplied by the credits one second costs. Where a platform shows a clip price, we divided by the clip length.
Four things change the real price:
- Resolution: H3 makes 2K and 768p, and prices differ by about 40% between them.
- Audio: H3 generates stereo sound in the same pass on every platform here, with no separate charge listed.
- Plan size: Credit plans get cheaper per credit as you buy more, so we give a range from the dearest to the cheapest plan we read.
- Promos and billing period: Higgsfield’s API rate is a 50% promotion, and annual billing lowers every app plan.
1. Higgsfield: cheapest rate, if you use the API
Higgsfield sells MiniMax H3 two ways, and the API is far cheaper than the app. Its API model page lists H3 at $0.065 a second at 2K, “50% off” the standard $0.13, for clips of 5 to 15 seconds.
That’s a promotion with no stated end date, and the API is billed separately from website plans. So treat $0.065 as the lowest price available today, not a permanent one.
Higgsfield’s plan cards on annual billing, checked November 6, 2026.
In the app, Higgsfield’s H3 page prices a 2K clip at 20 credits per 5 seconds, so 4 credits a second. We divided each plan by its credits:
- Pro: $23 a month annual, $29 monthly, 600 credits. That’s $0.153 to $0.193 a second.
- Max: $59 annual, $79 monthly, 1,800 credits. That’s $0.131 to $0.176.
- Basic: $9 annual for 120 credits, about $0.30 a second.
Higgsfield also sells larger Pro and Max tiers (900 credits, and 3.6K and 5.4K). We couldn’t read their prices, so the app’s real best case may be lower. Our October 30 notes had $0.061 on a promotional plan; we couldn’t re-confirm it.
Best for: developers (API) and heavy creators (Max). Pricing: $0.065 a second on the API; $0.131 to $0.193 in the app. Checked November 6, 2026.
2. Luma: the cheapest app plans we could read
Luma is the best-priced app for MiniMax H3 once you pass its entry plan. Luma’s pricing page charges 46 credits a second at 2K and 28 at 768p for text and image to video.
Luma’s per-second credit costs for MiniMax H3 and H3 Max.
Plans are Plus at $30 a month for 10,000 credits, Pro at $90 for 40,000 and Ultra at $300 for 150,000, with annual billing at $25, $75 and $250. At 46 credits a second, 2K works out to:
- Plus: $0.115 annual, $0.138 monthly.
- Pro: $0.086 annual, $0.104 monthly.
- Ultra: $0.077 annual, $0.092 monthly.
At 768p (28 credits a second) the range is $0.047 to $0.084. The first 5 reference images are free; extra ones cost 14 credits. Video-to-video doubles the rate.
Best for: people who want an app, not an API, and will buy a bigger plan. Pricing: $25 to $300 a month. Checked November 6, 2026.
3. Hailuo app: MiniMax’s own consumer app
The Hailuo app is where MiniMax sells H3 to consumers. Its subscribe page advertised 2K “from $0.081/sec” when we checked on November 2, on the larger yearly plans.
The Hailuo app on November 6: a 5-second 2K clip costs 60 credits, with plans from $9.99 a month.
Signed out today, the page shows only “From $9.99/mo” and that 60-credit price for a 5-second 2K clip, not the plan table. So we can’t re-derive the $0.081 figure, and we mark it as advertised. Confirm it at checkout.
Best for: people who want MiniMax’s own interface, including its Extend tool. Pricing: From $9.99 a month; 2K from $0.081 a second on bigger plans. Checked November 2 and 6, 2026.
4. Krea: cheap on yearly plans, with unclear settings
Krea prices H3 as how many videos each plan makes, not per second. Its pricing page lists MiniMax H3 at about 10, 41 and 83 five-second videos on Basic, Pro and Max, with no reference images.
Krea’s plans on yearly billing, checked November 6, 2026.
Dividing plan price by videos and by 5 seconds gives these estimates:
- Yearly billing: $0.100 (Basic), $0.102 (Pro) and $0.152 (Max).
- Monthly billing: $0.18, $0.17 and $0.25.
The page doesn’t state the resolution behind those counts, so we can’t say it’s 2K, and the figures are inferred from rounded numbers. Krea also lists H3 Max at 480p and an “H3 Max Turbo”. Treat the H3 figures as estimates.
Best for: people already on Krea for image work. Pricing: $5 to $63 a month on yearly billing. Checked November 6, 2026.
5. MiniMax API: the list price
MiniMax’s own API is the benchmark everyone else is measured against. Its pricing page lists MiniMax-H3 at $0.13 a second at 2K and $0.08 at 768p, with audio references free and the first five reference images free.
MiniMax’s API price list for the H3 series.
It also sells cheaper tiers: H3-Highspeed at $0.06 (768p) and $0.04 (480p), and H3-Lite at $0.04 and $0.025. Those are different models, so they aren’t in our 2K ranking, but they’re the lowest per-second prices for anything H3-branded on this page.
You need a developer account and your own tooling. There’s no timeline or editor.
Best for: developers who want the model maker’s rate with no markup. Pricing: $0.13 a second at 2K, $0.08 at 768p. Checked November 6, 2026.
6. fal.ai: same price as MiniMax, one API for many models
fal.ai is a hosted model API, and its H3 price matched MiniMax’s in our earlier research at $0.130 a second. Its H3 page now says only “pay per use”, so we couldn’t re-confirm the number and list it as read on October 30.
fal’s H3 Max page does state prices: $0.05 at 480p, $0.08 at 768p and $0.16 at 1080p, with audio included and five free generations a day when signed in.
Best for: developers who want one key for many models. Pricing: H3 about $0.13 a second (not re-confirmed); H3 Max $0.05 to $0.16. Checked November 6, 2026.
7. Vidwip: dearest here, with a timeline attached
Vidwip charges 20 credits a second for Hailuo 3, in 2K with sound, for 5- to 15-second shots. A credit costs $0.0079 on Pro annual ($79 a month for 10,000 credits) and $0.01 on Starter monthly ($25 for 2,500).
So Hailuo 3 costs $0.158 to $0.200 a second, and a 10-second shot runs $1.58 to $2.00. That’s the highest of the platforms we priced.
Hailuo 3 and Hailuo 3 Max on Vidwip’s models page.
What you get instead of a lower rate:
- On paid plans, from $25 a month. Starter’s 2,500 credits make about 125 seconds of Hailuo 3.
- 16 video models on one balance. AI Video Generator runs Hailuo 3 beside Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0.
- Shots land on a timeline. Each clip goes to AI Studio, where you add voices, music and captions and export at up to 1080p with no watermark.
If you only want raw clips, use a cheaper API. If you’d rather not run a separate editor, the gap buys you one. See plans.
Best for: creators who compare models and edit in one place. Pricing: 20 credits a second, $0.158 to $0.200. Checked November 6, 2026.
What about Hailuo 3 Max?
Hailuo 3 Max (H3 Max) is the cheaper, faster sibling, and its cheapest routes differ from H3’s. These are the per-second prices we confirmed:
| Platform | H3 Max price | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| Krea (yearly, inferred) | About $0.026 to $0.041 | 480p |
| Luma | $0.030 to $0.054 | 480p |
| MiniMax API | $0.05 | 480p |
| fal.ai | $0.05 | 480p |
| Luma | $0.047 to $0.084 | 768p |
| MiniMax API | $0.08 | 768p |
| fal.ai | $0.08 | 768p |
| Vidwip | $0.103 to $0.130 (13 credits a second, silent) | 768p |
Krea’s figures come from about 38, 154 and 308 five-second 480p videos per plan. Magnific lists “MiniMax H3 Max Turbo” at 200 credits for a 5-second 768p clip, about €0.020 to €0.030 a second, but that’s a different model from H3 Max, so we’ve left it out of the table.
On Vidwip, Hailuo 3 Max is silent, so it fits drafts rather than finished shots.

| Vidwip | Pro annual to Starter monthly | $0.158 to $0.200 | 2K | Yes | $1.58 to $2.00 |
At 768p, MiniMax charges $0.08 and Luma $0.047 to $0.084. A longer 15-second 2K clip on MiniMax’s API costs $1.95.
What we couldn’t confirm
- Invideo: our October 30 notes had $0.083 to $0.295 a second for MiniMax H3. Its pricing page doesn’t list H3 credit costs, and its help center says it prices generative models off the provider’s list price. Check the credit preview in the editor before generating.
- Magnific: its pricing page lists H3 Max Turbo but not H3 or H3 Max, and its H3 page returned an error for us. Our earlier $0.220 for H3 is unconfirmed.
- Higgsfield’s $0.061: a promotional plan rate from October 30, which we couldn’t reproduce from its pricing page.
How to choose
Pick by how you’ll use Hailuo 3:
- Lowest price, raw clips: Higgsfield’s API, while the 50% promo lasts. Otherwise MiniMax’s API.
- An app with the best credit rate: Luma Ultra, or the Hailuo app’s bigger yearly plans.
- Drafts at 480p: Luma, Krea or MiniMax’s H3 Max and H3-Lite tiers.
- Several video models plus a timeline: Vidwip, from $25 a month.
Not sure Hailuo 3 is the right model? Our Hailuo AI alternatives list ranks seven rivals, Wan 3.0 tops the editing leaderboard, and the best open-source AI video models cover what you can self-host. For the older model, see the cheapest Hailuo 2.3 provider.
Conclusion
Higgsfield’s API is the cheapest Hailuo 3 provider we could confirm, at $0.065 a second, though it’s a promo. Luma’s bigger plans and the Hailuo app follow at about $0.08, MiniMax and fal.ai sit at $0.13, and Vidwip is dearest at $0.158 to $0.200.
Prices move and promos end, so check your quote before a big batch. If you want to run Hailuo 3 next to 15 other models and edit the shots in one place, start with Vidwip, from $25 a month.
